Poison Potion {Do you need it?}

I logged in after the update, headed to the AH to sell some Poison potions I had. I didn't need them any more, so I figured I'd sell them. When I made them for Alchemy skill ups, they sold for about 12k. Price the night before was 45k and that's why I made my own. (Was only 25k to make a stack.) To my surprise, they were at 60k. I put them up and before I got to my MH they sold.

I go back to the AH to check on how many there were in stock, and the price hiked to 80k! I sold about 500k of them before I went to bed. When I logged the next day I saw there were 37 stacks up, and still going strong at 80k. The price did drop down to 40k, but it's not back up to 50 and holding.

So is this just something that hit Lakshmi? Or did other servers run into huge price jumps like this?

tdh, it's for a limited time only. This is because of everyone wanting a Diabolos avatar and one of the attacks is some aoe sleepga attack. Poison is suppose to keep the players awake, hence the sudden demand for them.

I figured that's what it was for. Everybody wanting to do CoP missions, and Diabolos runs neededing them. Just shocked me how sharply the price jumped, and how long it actually stayed there. Was curious if this was something EVERYBODY saw.

Every time I pass through Lower Jeuno I see tons of Promy and Diabolos shouts. I know a SMN69 in my LS is trying to do those runs too!

yea good time to sit in jeuno and join CoP now if any haven't started lol. Not many shouts for CoP mission these days other wise.

Poison might or might not wake you up from Nightmare, but it'll wake you from Sleepga 2.

nightmare can be stunned. you need some really good and fast stunner tho.

Oops! Then again, it's cheaper to buy the Poison Dust in Lower Jeuno. Stack of Poison Dust sells for 5k a stack. I can buy a stack from the Gobby Shop for about 3.5~3.8k a stack. Not a huge savings, but a savings none-the-less.

poison wount wake u up from nightmare ability, people buy poison is also for diabolo but not for nightmare as it dont work. beside nightmare diabolo cast a lot of sleepga thats where people buy it and use it for.
Another thing is nightmare and sleepga casting is like instant cast so is pretty or very hard to stun it compare to COP mission it cast a lot faster.
